Beginner questions about GMS
1. So i started playing this game like 3 days ago. My first character is Adele and currently playing on Reboot server. Question is when do i start farming for gears? Im currently level 187 and at this point its so hard to kill mobs especially when im trying to level on Deserted Southern Ridge, i basically cant one shot mobs anymore and they hit hard. The event root abyss items that is given does no damage anymore. Am i doing something wrong here?

2. Also what bosses should i start doing? I already did Zakum and Hillia today, im just not confident enough to solo other bosses.
3. Im trying to do Ursus but theres no one around so the queue never gets filled up by 18. I thought many would do Ursus, so where are they?
4. What's with the fps? I thought i could run this old game on my pretty old laptop in a playable fps but when there's too much happening or too much skills the fps just goes down way hard.

People only do Ursus during 2x Ursus meso hours which is currently 1AM-5AM/ 6PM-10PM UTC.
It is normal to not one shot monster in Reboot because higher level monster get more HP than you can get stronger on a fresh account.
Maple Story is extremely reliant on CPU strength (your graphic card hardly get used), and is only programmed to run on only 1 core on your CPU.
Laptop CPU generally is not that strong and is prone to overheating which causes the laptop to slow down the CPU to avoid overheating.Getting equipment is mostly from bosses, so getting as much stuff here is a key to progression if you are planning a solo only run.
