Design principles to incorporate in your work (2024)

Design principle are the rules that will help you to make helpful decision to your projects. Design principles have the power to combine all your associates around what is more important to your users. In my opinion, the four design principles that should be incorporated in each design are: Simple, Modern, Consistent and approachable.

· Simple
Create a layout that anyone can use even those that are not tech savvy. The interface should be legible and intuitive. Display easy to understand data visualization for the users.

· Modern
Create a smooth, uninterrupted, and engaging platform for users by using little clutter which means more negative space and multimedia like photos/videos. Add some microinteractions to make the user experience delightful and interactive.

· Consistent
Consistent navigation can guide users to find their most needed information quickly and effectively. Make sure that every information and user flow is in the same position on every page to help users navigate the product with ease.

Approachable
Make an approachable interface so you have a platform that can be targeted towards a broader audience.
