Some other possible reasons why the transaction is declined even though the card still appears in the Samsung Pay app include: An incorrect PIN has been entered at the terminal when prompted. You don't have an internet connection and a new Token Key is required for a Visa card. Your card has been temporarily locked.

If the card you want to use isn't appearing, you can customize which cards are accessible from within the app. If your card isn't appearing when you swipe up from the bottom of your screen, either it isn't marked it as a favorite, or the feature isn't enabled in the app.

You could try clearing the cache/data of the Samsung Wallet app. Settings>Apps>Samsung Wallet>Storage>Clear cache. If that doesn't work, clear data instead. Clearing data will essentially reset the app.

Check the default payment app

Open the wallet app, tap on the ALL, tap the 3 dots, settings, Accounts and Syncing, make sure you are signed in your Samsung Account, make sure Sync with Samsung Account is toggled on. It will only back up your pass data, not wallet/ cards.
