Have art on paper that is rippled, wavy, folded or just won’t lay flat? Well, we can flatten your *art in our homemade mounting press! In order to get art flat, it needs to be “humidified”so that the paper will “relax” and flatten out. The next step is the careful, controlled drying of the dampened art between absorbent sheets of blotter board. It takes several days and several setsof fresh blotters to properly flatten the paper artwork.
(*Not all art can be flattened this way. We can only accommodate art under 24×36 at this time.)

Lay down something flat (like a board) that is larger than the size of the painting. Put something heavy on top (like books or a box)Leave for 24 hours.
Once your art is rolled out, weighting each corner of the print for around 24-hours will help prevent the piece's tendency to roll up. This is needed before you put it into a frame as if it isn't left to flatten out first, it can cause the corners to tighten up inside the frames leading to wrinkling around the corners.
With a spray bottle, dampen the towel slightly. You don't want it to be completely wet, just a bit damp. With your iron on the lowest setting, iron the poster through the bath towel. Be extremely cautious, and even if the wrinkles persist, do not turn up the heat of the iron.
When you have multiple layers flatten you image to avoid issues while printing. Warning: when flattening the individual objects in the image it can no longer be moved or edited.
Let it sit overnight! 6. Once it's been 24 hours, check your Print. If it's still not laying flat, put your heavy objects back on it for a couple more hours.
Place your photograph upside down and spray the adhesive on it. Be sure to overspray the sides, top, and bottom edges. Position the photograph on the mount board and smooth it down from the center to the edges using your hand or a brayer. Typically the spray adhesives are not as permanent as dry or wet mounting.
Unfortunately, there is no easy way to un-warp a part without causing more issues, especially with prints requiring accurate dimensions. The only possible way to unwarp a 3D print would be re-heating it using a heat gun/hair dryer and trying to nudge it back into shape.
Cover the paper completely with a flat, heavy object. A stack of large, heavy books are often used for this purpose. Wait until it dries, checking daily. The paper should dry into a flat, mostly wrinkle-free surface, but it may take some time to do so.
