To be dubbed the 'most beautiful girl in the world' at just six years old is certainly impressive.

But now all grown up, Thylane Blondeau is continuing to make a name for herself.

The French model and actress is the daughter of footballer Patrick Blondeau and TV presenter, Veronica Lobbé.

So coming from a somewhat famous family, Thylane was in the public eye from the very beginning.

In fact, her journey began before she was named the most beautiful girl in the world, as she was scouted by Jean Paul Gaultier at the age of just three.

And at the tender age of four, Thylane walked her first show for the famous fashion designer.

Thylane skyrocketed to fame in 2007 after topping TC Candler's coveted annual '100 Most Beautiful Faces' list.

But what is she up to nowadays?

Well, now a 23-year-old woman, Thylane remains a hugely successful model, after signing up with IGM Models at the age of 16.

She has worked on campaigns for fashion giants such as Versace and Prada, while she's also a global ambassador for L’Oreal Paris.

After rising to fame so quickly at the age of six, many wondered whether Thylane would continue in the world of modelling.

Well, she has kept her people informed on Instagram, with many people not being able to get over how she looks now.

Thylane boasts a whopping seven million followers on the social media app, as she updates fans with snaps and videos from photoshoots and public appearances.

It hasn't been all easy for the model, however, telling The Telegraph how she didn't register the global attention when she was younger.

“People are like, ‘You know, you’re the most beautiful girl in the world’, and you’re like, ‘I’m not, I’m just playing with my iPad’,” she said.

"Even today, people are like, ‘You are the most beautiful girl’, and I’m like, ‘No, I’m still not, I’m just a human being, a teenager.’”

In terms of difficulties of being part of the fashion industry as a child, fellow model Bella Hadid previously claimed how it affected her mental health.

In a video for Vogue magazine discussing 'that' red dress moment at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, Hadid said: "I was nervous in this dress. I look very sexual and all these things. I was still nervous about cameras and nervous about having a lot of makeup on.

"I kind of get embarrassed of this moment still, even though the dress is gorgeous.

"It just, again, doesn't feel so much like me, and I think that this was the start of the 'Bella' persona that everyone sees of me. That's my alter ego. That's Belinda."
