Your user ID is your email address. It is unique to your NissanConnect EV account. It is valid for as long as you have your NissanConnect EV account.

How do I check network coverage in the vehicle?

Your vehicle uses mobile networks to access Nissan Connected Services. If you are having trouble validating your ownership, you may be in an area that does not have a strong data signal. You can try to take your vehicle to an area with stronger signal and repeat the ownership check process.

To check the network coverage in your vehicle, please follow the steps below:

  1. Press START/STOP button to start the engine
  2. On the screen of the navigation system, identify the network icon
  3. If the icon has 1 or multiple bars, it means that you have enough network coverage
  4. If the icon does not show bars, it means that you do not have network coverage. In that case, please drive your vehicle to another open-air area

How do I complete the ownership check?

In order to ensure that your Connected Services are used by you and nobody else, NissanConnect EV has its own vehicle ownership check process.

Once you click the ‘Start ownership check’ button you will have 60 minutes to complete all the required steps listed here.

  1. Go to your vehicle.
  2. Press START/STOP button to start the engine.
  3. Wait for 1 minute.
  4. Press START/STOP button to stop the engine.

Why would the system log me out automatically even if I didn’t log out myself?

There is a possibility that log-in has been done via a different terminal or web screen with the same ID. If the same ID is used for log-in via different screens or devices, then automatic log-out processing is actioned from the previous screen.

It stops after a maximum of 2 hours with a charge cable. It stops using battery power after a maximum of 15 minutes without a charge cable. It also stops when the cable is removed or the power switch of the car is on.

Each definition is as follows. Monthly: Ranking based on the value tallied monthly. It shows a cumulative value. Only energy economy represents an average value. Only energy economy stands for average value. The new value is tallied the next week. A week is from Sunday to Saturday. The tally is updated every day so you can see the progress.
